Jimmy Kimmel Tells Trump What His Family Really Thinks Of Him

Jimmy Kimmel said yet another book about Donald Trump is showing what the people around the former president really think about him.

That includes members of his inner circle ― and even his own family.

But what really came through in the book was that those closest to Trump knew all that and more.

“According to this book, everyone who worked at the White House ― including his family ― thought Trump was a dangerous, unpredictable child,” Kimmel said.

Then, Kimmel called them out.

“On behalf of all of us, I just want to say ‘thank you’ to those brave men and women who kept that information to themselves and away from the American people who could have removed him from office,” Kimmel said.

Standing in a grassy field together, the athlete captioned his photo: ‘Just because this week wasn’t big enough… we are very excited to share our little secret. Bubba due March 2023 – couldn’t be happier!’

Meanwhile, Indiana, who is the sister of Jasmine Griffen, married to former Bulldogs and GWS star Ryan Griffen, wrote alongside her snap: ‘Mum & Dad – little bebè arriving March 2023.’

Jeremy, who hails from a farm in the Victorian town of Dartmoor, went all out as he celebrated the Cats’ massive win against the Sydney Swans on the weekend.

He was the centre of attention when he rocked up to the Mad Monday celebrations dressed as a chicken in honour of his hen which had finally laid eggs.

Such was the dominance of the Cats in their 81-point victory, commentators already remarked it was ‘party time’ during the third quarter – and it appears that carried on until at least 4.30am for some players.

After the side presented the Cup to fans outside the MCG and had an official club function, Jeremy continued partying on his farm with some joyous mates.

In a barn that has been converted into a bar, Jeremy posted a video of him and four friends, including former Cats ruckman Dawson Simpson, raising glasses of beer.

He filmed one of his friends pouring a beer out of a tap installed at the converted barn, saying: ‘Might be late tomorrow.’ The video was timestamped at 4.18am.

It got even wilder from there.

The next video on Cameron’s Instagram story hilariously showed him chasing after a small herd of calves and admitting ‘we’ve done something silly here’.

The star full forward pointed to one of the calves, which was wearing his grand final winner’s medal around its neck.

‘Can I have my medal back?’ Cameron asked the cow, before suggesting it could keep wearing it for the night. ‘Let him have it for the night, get out there, enjoy it, it’s for all of us.’

Jeremy, who kicked two goals in the grand final, was up again at 7am, posting a shot of a glass of beer in front of a Geelong-emblazoned firepit.

When May took the stage at the Kia Forum, he revealed why he decided to play this song to the audience.

‘I wasn’t going to sing this song tonight because we all decided this was a party, and this was a time to celebrate, right? Then something happened,’ May revealed.

‘I sang this song in Wembley (where the U.K. tribute was held) when we did this a couple weeks ago and it’s a song written by a young man called Freddie Mercury,’ May continued.

‘And she said, “Brian, I want you to do this song. I want everybody to do this song for me. I want you to do it for me and Taylor because it was our song. It was played at our wedding. It was our wedding album,”‘ May explained.

He added that Alison, who married Hawkins in 2005, requested that May also, ‘get everybody to sing it as my gift to the love of my life.’

After the emotional performance, Alison took to the stage with daughters Annabelle, 13, and Everleigh, 8, as she blew a kiss to the audience.

Meryl Streep Reveals Iconic Actor, ‘True Blue Patriot’ Who’s Been Her ‘Beacon For 50 Years’

Meryl Streep attended a star-studded “Celebration of Film” event Saturday at the University of Austin to support the preservation and access to historical film materials. Her speech at the Harry Ransom Center notably declared one actor as her guiding “beacon.”

While the annual gala has been held since 2005, Saturday highlighted the preservation efforts and personal archive of Robert De Niro. Streep’s speech seemed to center on 1973’s “Bang The Drum Slowly,” which her friend Michael Moriarty starred in, before her true idol came into focus.

“Michael was great, but we all agreed that the kid they found in the South, non-actor, clearly non-actor, incredible performance,” Streep told the audience, according to the AV Club. “We thought they must have scoured Appalachia to find this guy.”

It just so happened that Streep would spot that seemingly Appalachian fellow again within months, as the Southern wunderkind had a star-making turn in Martin Scorsese’s “Mean Streets.” It was then that Streep realized she wasn’t dealing with an amateur — but a true chameleon.

“And there’s the guy, there’s the same kid,” recalled Streep. “And only he’s not slow. He’s not Southern. He’s a New York punk. He’s absolutely mean, this fast-talking street smart guy, and we were blown away. We scoured the credits and saw his name.”

“I said, ‘Oh my God,’” Streep admitted. “He’s Italian. He’s Robert De Niro. He’s an actor. And it really blew me away.”

Robert De Niro and Meryl Streep co-starred in "The Deer Hunter," "Falling in Love" and "Marvin's Room."

Streep, who has a record 21 Academy Award nominations and three wins under her belt, also praised De Niro as a “true blue patriot” who “lives by his loyalty to his ideals, to his country and to the people that he loves.” The 79-year-old New Yorker certainly has the credentials.

De Niro founded the Tribeca Film Festival in 2002 to revitalize New York City in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks, donates to countless charities, works with preservation organizations like FilmAid International and regularly vocalizes his disdain for morally dubious politicians.

For Streep, however, De Niro was an actor first and foremost. While the two contemporaries became individual acting icons during the 1970s and starred together in films like “The Deer Hunter,” Streep will never forget realizing De Niro’s true talents for the first time.

“The second time I saw Robert De Niro, I said to myself, that’s the kind of actor I wanna be,” Streep said in Austin. “That’s what I wanna do. And I wanna do it with the commitment and the passion and the skill and the beauty with which he applies to it. And he’s been my beacon for 50 years.”

“He’s a man whose presence in my life for 40 years has been a consoling constant,” added Streep. “But I don’t see him very often. We don’t chat. But I know he is, without question, always there for me, and he always will be.”

Their partners may play for different sports codes.

But Australia’s footy WAGs went head-to-head on the red carpet this month at the AFL Brownlow Medal count and NRL Dally M Awards.

Brittney McGlone, partner of Tigers player James Tamou, also held nothing back when it came to dressing for the Dally M red carpet.

Many AFL WAGs opted for high-fashion frocks while showing a comparatively modest amount of flesh.

‘Barney’ Docuseries Details Drug Rumors, Violent Backlash Over Beloved Children’s Show

Peacock just released a trailer for its “Barney & Friends” documentary series, “I Love You, You Hate Me” — and it’s brutal.

“Barney & Friends,” a children’s television phenomenon that aired for 14 seasons, from 1992 to 2010, drew the attention of countless children who turned to the lovable purple dinosaur for such life lessons as forgiveness and sharing.

But now the darker side of the amiable Tyrannosaurus rex’s image, including death threats surrounding the show and how the character became a catalyst for hate, is being exposed.

“Why does the world love to hate?” the trailer asks before firing off examples of the visceral backlash against the costumed character over the years.

“Some of the rumors I heard: Barney hides drugs in his tail,” says one man in the promo.

Bob West, a performer who starred as Barney, revealed just how serious the rumors became, eventually leading to wildly unsettling death threats against his family.

“They were violent and explicit, death and dismemberment of my family,” he recalled. “They were going to come and find me, and they were going to kill me.”

The series was directed by Tommy Avallone of “The Bill Murray Stories,” who recently told People about the personal connection he has to the long-running TV dinosaur who captured the hearts of millions of children.

“Barney came out on television when I was just 10 years old, and I admittedly didn’t understand him. As a teenager, for one of my birthdays I asked my aunt to make me a Barney costume, so my friends and I could beat him up on camera,” he told People.

He added, “Several years later, creating this docuseries, it feels good to be on the other side and no longer a Barney hater. Now having children of my own, I understand all the love that went into making the purple dinosaur.”

“I Love You, You Hate Me” will premiere Oct. 12 on Peacock.

Bette Midler Reveals We’ve Been Singing This Classic ‘Hocus Pocus’ Song Wrong

Bette Midler geared up for the release of the “Hocus Pocus” sequel this week by dropping a surprise revelation (for some fans, anyway) about the original movie.

Over the weekend, the stage and screen icon shared a bewitching photo of herself as Winifred Sanderson on Instagram, along with a caption that referenced “I Put A Spell On You,” her classic song from the 1993 film.

“Hello, sailors,” she wrote. “My name’s Winifred, what’s yours?”

While the lyric may seem innocuous, it stunned many Midler fans, who believed she was singing “Salem,” the Massachusetts town where the movie is set, instead of “sailors.”

“Wait… it’s sailors not Salem??” one person wrote. Added another: “I was today years old when I learned she says ‘Sailors’ instead of ‘Salem.’”

Evidently, the lyrics for “I Put A Spell On You” were even misheard by Freeform, as the cable channel’s YouTube video captioning for the song also quotes Winifred as singing, “Hello, Salem.”

The “sailors” vs. “Salem” discourse, of course, reflects the excitement surrounding “Hocus Pocus 2,” which hits Disney+ on Friday. The movie reunites Midler with actors Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker as the Sanderson sisters, a trio of wicked witches who are inadvertently resurrected on Halloween night.

The original “Hocus Pocus” was both a critical and commercial disappointment upon its initial 1993 release. Since then, however, the movie has garnered a devoted following among viewers of all ages, and has been embraced as a fall favorite.

Midler has, for years, been vocal about her interest in reprising the role of Winifred in a sequel. In 2016, she dusted off her character’s costume for her annual Hulaween Bash fundraiser.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly earlier this month, the Divine Miss M said she finds the new film “quite satisfying.”

“We made suggestions as far as songs were concerned, and we went to the barricades on that,” she explained. “It feels very sisterly. It’s much more loving than it used to be. After 30 years in purgatory or limbo, they’re happy to be free again.”

"Hocus Pocus 2" is due out Sept. 30.
